If you are interested - or even a little curious about contemporary printmaking - this is the place to be. Welcome.
Here you will find work inspired by Biblical theology, poetry and the landscape and culture of rural north Monmouthshire where I live.
I also have a growing interest in broader socio-economic issues facing rural communities including conflicts between incomers and locals and the difficulties faced by tenant farmers.
I often incorporate text into my work and make artist’s books. The pictorial images are not illustrations of the text nor is the text a commentary on the pictorial image. My aim is to produce multi-layered pieces that intrigue, challenge or amuse. Always there is an underlying narrative.
