I paint, draw, make prints and artists' books and live in a small village in Dorset, UK. I studied art post-retirement as a chartered civil engineer and local government chief officer.

You will see images on this site in a range of styles and media. I have never settled to a personal style. I am always experimenting and the subject often dictates the way I will approach it.
This is a portrait of an old farmer who allowed me to take his photographic portrait as he sat on his ancient tractor in the market square of a town in Normandy.
